Good choice if you are a Ryobi fan. What they had before/have now is either very big or very small. It's the perfect size for me with the right feature set. Some advantages: - Can be battery operated (all ONE+ batteries) or plugged into a wall socket with a regular power strip (not multiple socket). - Fairly loud with dual 7W speakers - Has basic bass and treble controls and bass is decent - Matches all your other Ryobi gear (for better or worse) - AM/FM (10 presets each) gives the feeling that it can be used in emergency situations. - Easy Bluetooth pairing/connection - Aux-in and Aux-out for connecting more speakers (especially non-Bluetooth speakers) - There's a tray and stand for your phone/tablet - It looks like a watch, manCons :- The thing works quite well for my needs, so the biggest minus is not that big. The rear weight distribution is a little heavy when using the handle and the battery is in the port (even the smaller 1.3Ah batteries) - was hoping it would cost even less as Ryobi have always been good value -Quality ratio, but maybe it's because it's a limited edition speaker and, I don't know, am I cheap? - Water and dust resistance would be a huge bonus considering the environment. But then it costs more. All in all a great addition to your Ryobi collection. If you already have Ryobi gadgets and are looking for a Bluetooth speaker, this is the perfect option. If you're looking for a slightly less powerful sound, the smaller P742 is also a good choice. I have this little guy too and he's quite decent, at least.
