Good. So my Elite Xbox One controller had left a stick drift. Before ordering them I tried my best to fix the problem but to no avail. I washed it with alcohol, blew it off with compressed air several times and nothing. There was still stick drift. I decided that I would try these substitutes. I didn't solder, I just removed the inside (looks like a disc of plastic and metal). I watched a few YouTube videos to see the process. I haven't completely taken it apart, although I have in the past for my previous attempts. I disassembled the controller just enough to fold back the green tray just enough to eject the drive. Then I opened up the new devices I received (the ones I'm considering) by removing the green cover, took out the new drive, plugged it into my controller, and then put everything back together. Works perfectly. If that fails I'll update this review, but so far so good. I saved a lot of money and now have 7 drives left (2 per block minus the replaced one) in case it happens again. Just order them, watch a YouTube video on how to disassemble the controller and you can save tons of money and time. Too bad I got them from the start.
