A little problem with the temperature.

Took me a while to figure it out. When I first got it and turned it on it just said "ERR". Actually there is no help or support on the line. I did the calibration steps and it works. Later, when I pulled it out to use it, it showed "ERR" again. I was very disgusted and put it back in the drawer because I didn't have time to play around with it. The next time I pulled it out, it worked perfectly. ? Next time it showed "ERR" again. Instead of removing it, I attached it to the bench; a little later i noticed that the display showed again. The last time I used it, I got a notice. I don't keep my shop warm when I'm not working, it's not cold but it can be 40-45 degrees. The sensor showed "ERR" again, so I put it in front of the heater. A few minutes later he showed the corner. I used it but in between surgeries I taped it to the pan brake when I tried to use it after a while it read "ERR" again. I put it in my pocket for a while and it started working again. My guess is that the brake was cold enough to cool the cube into a dumb state. So, I think if you hold it higher, maybe 55 degrees, it works fine. Another feature I don't like (or haven't gotten used to yet) is that the display inverts if you start rotating more than 90 degrees. This means if you attach it to your work and bend it a little more than 90Β° to eliminate the elastic deformation, the display will flip back and forth and you'll have to wait for it to decide what to show you. . I do not like it. Jim
