I've been working completely from home for 6 years and our company is switching to VOIP (Voice over IP) and collaborative programs like Skype for Business, Zoom and Microsoft Teams. I tried 5 different mics, ranging from the free headset that came with the Rosetta Stone DVD set to the high quality Plantronics headset that costs almost $120. I chose a US adapter with a physical mute button mainly because I wanted to connect 4-segment headphones. The USB adapter (almost a headphone sound card) works well with my old headphones and doesn't have a proprietary slot. As a headset, they work well for a sub-$30 kit, and I've been trying them for a while. The microphone works well and people can hear me. It's great for the price and I was able to connect my headphones to the adapter that came with it. (Honestly that was my goal as I found the in-ears to get warm after about an hour). Overall, I am convinced of the quality and value for money. If you don't want to spend more or want to plug in an old pair of headphones with a microphone. It's a great choice.
