Review on 🔌 Enhanced Quick Connect Adapter by Big Horn – 4x4 inches, Black by Holly Wille

I bought 2 of these Big Horn Quick Connect Adapters, one for each end of the dust collection hose. When I tried to put them on the hose I found that both threads are LEFT. My hose is twisted the right way like most dust collector hoses. I was wondering if I was missing something in the product description so I checked and it doesn't state which direction the threads are oriented and there is no way to order a RIGHT hand thread adapter. Don't worry, I'll just pull the thread. Put the hose on the adapter and use the clamp. Incidentally, the end that fits over the machine's dust bag is internally tapered to accommodate a variety of dust bag sizes, and it fits snugly on the 4-inch dust bag on my professional SawStop table saw. on a lathe so I can file the threads with a rasp. I managed to do it in just a few minutes each time. Then I heated the ends of my clear vinyl tubing and gently pushed them in. The T-handle clamp keeps them snug in the hose. Problem solved without the hassle of sending them back and trying to find a source for another item with the correct threads.
