Vacuums and floor polishers screw back

Screw screws back to air duct. Why this is done is a mystery. Still suitable, but not very desirable. That should have been in the description.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

Not suitable: Vacuum cleaner parts and accessories

I've seen rave reviews of how good this product is. Doesn't fit, doesn't fit in any of my cars. It will not fit 4" Big Horn PVC adapters. I am extremely disappointed. Did I receive a bad batch? The end of the hose works great but the end that is supposed to connect to my car doesn't work at all. Money out My side.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Negative impression

Ideal for port flexibility.

I bought 5 in total, one for each 3m of 4 inch blast hose. I use them to adjust the length of vacuum hose to the table saw, jointer, and router table (one length remains attached to the unit) with a 4" Woodstock W1019 fitting on the ends of the "unassigned hoses" to connect the sections to connect to each other. The quick friction fit is sufficient for current work and is easy to adjust to my setup.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Functionality

Connect Fast - Disconnect

I'm short on space in the store and need to move equipment from the storage area to the 'utility' area. In the "Use" section is a dust collector with a 4" hose. I purchased this item to connect my dust collection system to multiple tool ports and then disconnect it for use with the next tool. This quick connection mitigates this situation very well. The hose was stuck on the threaded end of the connector but that could be a problem with the hose.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Good, but not great

Best quick connect I've found

Of the various adapters I've tried to quickly connect a 4" vacuum hose to a port, this is by far the best. all 4" fittings I have. Other adapters are too tight and therefore don't close fully. Also, the male end makes for a secure hose connection. Simply trim the excess plastic from the wire frame and heat the hose along for less than a minute a hair dryer, it then snaps into place and is securely tightened.

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Somewhat service friendly

Threads will not fit my existing hose

Seems to fit most of my 4 inch fittings but with the tapered shape only a very small ring actually makes contact with the edge of the outer rim of the hose. different fit. It seems to fit quite snugly if you squeeze them together hard enough. Time will tell how the quality of the connection will hold up. Still needs a hose clamp to even hold the hose to this fitting. Kind of defeats the purpose of a threaded fitting. To be honest I've only bought one type of hose from PSI. So your mileage may…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • No automatic

Wrong thread for my hose

I bought 2 of these Big Horn Quick Connect Adapters, one for each end of the dust collection hose. When I tried to put them on the hose I found that both threads are LEFT. My hose is twisted the right way like most dust collector hoses. I was wondering if I was missing something in the product description so I checked and it doesn't state which direction the threads are oriented and there is no way to order a RIGHT hand thread adapter. Don't worry, I'll just pull the thread. Put the hose on the

Pros
  • Same as everything before
Cons
  • Definitely bad product
