Review on πŸ”§ Educational Insights Design Drill Play Marble Set by Mike Morris

Serious disappointment

Phew, that was a big fail. I have a 7 year old who loves marble mazes and building supplies so she must have loved it but the whole set seems incredibly cheap and poorly designed. The drill (batteries not included) can't really be used as shown in the picture because you have to put it on a stable surface to connect the parts. And that's hard, even with adult help. All the parts felt very cheap and the screws were soft and didn't fit really well. It was often easier to twist something by hand than using the drill bit that came with it, which was supposed to be the fun part. The set is also fairly small, so any marble "maze" you can make will be quite overwhelming. Also just give a ball? Come on, how cheap can you get something that is so easily lost?! My kids spent hours in children's museums and playing with similar toys on the wall, but this setup was a huge disappointment.

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
