The charm was the second time

The glass of my iPad Air is cracked. I'm an electronics lover so I decided to fix it. Removing the original screen was a bit tricky. In hindsight, I'd say it's not worth worrying about damaging the iPad; Simply use a heat gun around the iPad's outer frame and remove the screen as much as possible. Be sure to seal the screen with tape if the glass is cracked. Go ahead and cut the ribbon cables. Once all the thick adhesive has been removed from the frame, installing the glass is fairly easy. Everything's back together, but wait, the screen doesn't work properly, a few apps launch by themselves, and the iPad even does random Ooma calls. I know I didn't damage anything so I called Revain and they sent replacements straight away. Installing the replacement only took about 15 minutes. I was able to remove the old (new) screen fairly easily compared to the OEM screen. The iPad is now working properly. I am satisfied with this product.
