I've read several reviews from people saying their battery is dead or dead when they receive their watch. Let me just say that this watch doesn't use batteries. you are the battery When you wear the watch, walk around and go about your normal activities, the watch works and functions based on your energy and movements, this is how it works. If you take it off, put it on a dresser and leave it for a while, it will stop, and if you put it back on you'll have to reset the time. However, it is a beautiful watch and exactly what I wanted. I was really intrigued by the style, the open movements, and using my movement to make the watch run and power the movements, so to speak. If you can handle the accidental reset because you chose to put it on, you won't be disappointed. I wear mine almost all the time except in the shower or in the rain so hopefully this clears up a bit with the battery (no battery) and why it keeps stalling.
