After using the nexus 5 and 5x (Android), I made the jump away from Apple and haven't looked back. I powered it on, got it all set up, and now I'm using it happily — and not to make a tambourine sound. Unlike when I was using Nexuses, and even though Nexus 5 was fantastic, I have not been contemplating a phone upgrade for quite some time. has certain advantages: The craftsmanship on this thing is superb. The display is top-notch, and it even has a genuine tone function. An excellent camera that fits the needs of many people and more than meets my own. Distinct drawbacks: There are some minor idiosyncrasies in the iOS system, but they aren't deal breakers. For example, you can't disable ates, which means the ate file is downloaded to the phone and clogs memory. As I have found that Apple's free cloud storage is not sufficient, I instead save copies of my files, images, and operating system on a dedicated desktop computer.
