I was skeptical but these sponges work very well. I washed as usual and then just stood in the shower for a while to get "wet". She wet and wrung out the sponge, then dried her hand and began rubbing gently with the sponge. Of course there were little patches of skin all over me! I also used it on my face and there was a lot in there too - it's so smooth! A sponge is like a magic eraser, only more durable. I put my baby with super dry skin in the tub for 15 minutes then dried his hands and feet and was amazed at how much came out. He was very angry and said that I ruined his bath water because of all that skin. So I've found that the longer you soak, the better it works. Use on clean skin, without soap, wiping off any excess water first. All of the packaging is written in a language I don't speak, so I'm basing this advice on what I've read elsewhere and my personal experience today.
