It is not easy to remove the tarpaulin for regular cleaning. If you enjoy pulling out metal and tossing the contents of the tarp into a quick cleaning bag, this cage isn't for you. The silly design means you have to pull those poles out of the tarpaulin every time. I simply apply the cleaning solution to the canvas and manually scoop the contents into a sachet. Takes 30 minutes versus 15 minutes for the leading competitor BUT what I like is that it's black (matches my apartment's color scheme) and doesn't irritate the eyes. I prefer doors and entrances in this cage over other cages. They have a snap closure, although I don't think it's called that. It works. doing a good job Just a pity they didn't use poles to attach the tarp to the cage.
