I first installed the ceiling fan without realizing how nice it would be not to have to pull the fan speed and light on/off chains. Installing the remote control was very easy, the hardest part was removing the ceiling fan to install the receiver. Once that was done, installing the code button on the receiver and remote was a simple task (no pun intended). The size of the receiver was perfect (small), it fits perfectly in the fan case. What I like best is the 3 fan speeds and the dimmer on the remote control. In addition, you can see the activated button through the red indicator on the remote control and hear a slight click from the receiver when using the buttons on the remote control.
