My feet are usually cold at night even with an electric blanket. I hate wearing constricting socks. These are nice and loose fitting at the top. That said I've only had one come off once at night while tossing and turning, so they stay put. Usually sometime during the night I will wake up and remove them because my feet are nice and warm. They are warm feeling, fuzzy feeling and cozy feeling. My feet are 8-1/2 wide but I think these will pretty much fit anyone as long as their feet aren't too tiny or too large.
