I was going to order King Arthur's cake sign but their cake signs are $10 plus $9 shipping and that's the cost. for 1. So when I saw this I thought it would be like this. Unfortunately, the only similarity between the two is that they protect the pie crust. The King Arthur version has slightly more textured silicone so it really flexes. So it's pretty easy to just wrap the protector around the pie crust. In these screens, the silicone is soft and flexible, so it has no texture. It's a little unwieldy if you're trying to quickly place it on top of a hot cake while standing with the oven door open.
