When the box arrived I was surprised at how big it was but upon opening it I found the unit would look streamlined and visually appealing in almost any room in the house. I have a very big house so I move it from room to room to let it do its job. He is very quiet. I had dust issues before purchasing the unit and found that the dust in my house, as well as the odors from pets and children, were greatly reduced. As a busy mom, I just wanted the air for my family to be clean and fresh, and that fits right in. It doesn't bother me and the kids when we sleep, when we fall asleep it and the noise level doesn't bother during the day. If you are looking for a good cleaner at a great price, I recommend this one. Edited to add: After a few more days of use and moving from room to room, I found it to be very sensitive to differences in air quality. And after a few days of work in each room, they are all measured at the same level. I am now confident that this air purifier will do what it promises and allow my family to breathe better. I'm curious to see if the filters will last the number of hours stated in the manual under my load, but right now I can't see this stopping.
