These knives are very beautiful, feel good in the hand and have a perfect balance. As others have written, they are sharp as scalpels. We've had them for two weeks now and I'm in the process of sharpening them for the first time just to make sure they stay sharp. The block we got is fine and we don't have any of the issues that others have written about. The only problem was that the chef's knife had a small chip on the blade when we received it. I knew I would have to grind it down on a whetstone and start over, so I emailed the seller along with a photo. They responded very quickly and said they would send a replacement. Received a replacement within 10 days. Very satisfied with the knives and the seller.
