No matter what I tried, I couldn't connect it!

I recently treated myself to a car. At the time of purchase I didn't think it was important to have a CD player as I had multiple streaming apps and satellite radio. However, I quickly realized how much I missed my favorite CDs and that made me buy this CD player. I wanted a portable CD player that I could take with me and easily plug into my car to play my favorite CDs. I was very happy that this player comes with all the necessary cables I need and I don't have to buy anything extra. The price was also what I expected. The buttons were easily accessible and conveniently located. I had no trouble viewing the bright LCD. I had no playback problems playing my CDs. I would like to test how it works in my machine but I can't because I couldn't connect it. Tries to connect in every possible way. Via bluetooth, USB, aux cable etc but no matter what I tried the CD player just wouldn't connect. I am familiar with electronics and have read the manual carefully to no avail. I literally spent my whole morning wiring this up. In the end I just threw the towel away and decided to return it. What was the point of keeping it if the reason I bought it didn't work despite my best efforts. I really wish this CD player was plugged in because I liked it. The connection issue was literally the only issue I had, but it turned out to be the most important for me. There are many other positive reviews, so I'm hoping maybe I've just been sent a faulty unit and/or cable. Regardless, I felt it was important to share my experience so that others are aware of the possible outcomes.

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • A few little things
