Perfect start for my mods.
This pattern was the perfect start for the caftan alterations I had in mind. The fabric comes in with enough structure (stiffness) to make sewing easy and softens nicely after wash. The front panel was perfectly symmetrical in pattern to work with when cutting a deep v-neck and clinching under the breast (a pleat w/ hidden stitching) . with plenty of room left for flatter, fit, and style!
