Review on πŸ”‘ SCITOO Key Fob Keyless Entry Remote for Dodge Grand Caravan 2008-2014 - 2X6 Button 433MHZ Replacement - Uncut Car Key Fob by Kobby Cagle

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Find out a few things first.

Update. To be honest I finally got them working after my honest mechanic took them apart and put them back together "properly". Interestingly, the dealer tried it. I'm not sure, but I've raised my rating accordingly. Since they still need a few clicks to get an answer, it will only be 3. - Before you try to program, make sure you know what year your car was made. I have a 2013 Grand Caravan that doesn't allow the owner to program keys with 2 working keys. (Dodge discontinued this feature some time before my version was made). So the dealer who reprimanded me for not buying an original Mopar remote. At first I thought it would be a bunch of sales. They happily charged me $60 to program both and not cut the real keys. (Any bullshit about it doesn't fit in their cutter.) So plus the cost of buying remotes, I didn't think it was that bad. After about a week, both slowly stopped working. I changed the battery in one of them and it doesn't work. The contacts don't seem to have tarnished, but some greasy fingers might have picked them up, so I'll try fixing them with rubbing alcohol and see if that helps. Otherwise be careful. It should be noted that I bought one from another seller on Revain a few years ago and it worked on the same car until a few months ago. When I get it working again I'll add my feedback. -

Pros
  • Keyless entry systems
Cons
  • I don't really like it, everything is fine
