I bought this monitor 8 months ago as an external monitor for my Macbook Pro M1 16" 2021 and while the picture quality was good it kept flickering. I had to keep changing the color profile to fix this and often it was the color profile, which didn't quite work for me. The screen was also very fragile. Last week I accidentally hit the screen VERY lightly with the edge of my bluetooth keyboard and it cracked rendering the monitor unusable. I had no protection against accidental damage. To the best of my knowledge, repairs would cost hundreds, so I decided to put that aside and get a new LG 34WN80C-B UltraWide Curved 34" IPS Display with a 21:9 aspect ratio, WQHD resolution (3440 x 1440) and buying it worked flawlessly. ... without flickering. I cannot recommend this Philips 328E1CA monitor due to flickering and brittleness along with a few other annoyances such as questionable support and user interface. Although the picture is good, I'm much happier with my new LG Ultrawide 34 inch
