Review on 🗺️ Nokia 500 Bluetooth Portable GPS Navigator with 4.3-Inch Display by Mark Sutovsky

Bought this GPS from another seller for $99.99. Great value for money for features like a 4.3" screen, text-to-speech, Blue Tooth and an FM transmitter. You enter an address. Compared to Garmin, this GPS requires more information. That's the problem. If you enter an address for a rural area. You have the option of entering a zip code. You do not need. However, it may happen that the street name for the entered city cannot be found. So you have the option to go back and enter a zip code. But really, how many people know the zip code of an area other than their own home address? However, once you enter a rural zip code, the zip code is split into a smaller area for each zip code. So in my case, when I looked up my home address, I had to find out the city of the zip code I was interested in. Really, who would know? This is the main disadvantage of this device. I don't see that as a disadvantage. sue the city zip code, but the rural, yes. Once he finds the address, no problem, the thing works great. Last question. It is possible to shrink the map. But there's a bug in the firmware that if you press the zoom button too quickly, it zooms out completely on the world view of the map. Then you can't go back to your local view unless you stop navigating and start again. It's not a problem, you just quit your current navigation, then start again and you can select a recently found one and you're done. But it's annoying. For those who found FM a problem, I think the problem is that a DC cable is used for the antenna part. I noticed that when I was only using the FM on battery power there was static and not a very good connection. But if I plugged the GPS into a power source that would be great. No problem. And for those who have not been able to get GPS to download contacts from their phone, you should know that it only downloads contacts stored on the phone's internal memory. If your contacts are stored on the SIM card, they will not be loaded. So in the end I would give 5 stars if it wasn't for the address entry, which is actually the main function a GPS should be able to do, and do well. I hope this review has helped some people to decide to buy this GPS. Last note. Honestly, it seems Nokia was late in bringing this GPS to the North American market. The reason I say this is because the errors I have listed are related to a very easy and quick firmware update. If Nokia is serious about this product in the US, then the bugs I list in this review would be a simple firmware update. But I don't feel like Nokia cares about us in the US.
