I installed mine the same way reviewer Kyle did (under the rear bumper for reversing) but when it was connected to the reverse light wiring the reverse sensors worked for me (2009 Ford F-150 Lariat 4X4). So I put them on an independent relay instead, with the relay being switched by my trailer harness' tail light wiring, which is also powered by the trailer harness. They're very bright and well built, but I smeared silicone around the edges of the lens and the hole where the cable comes out at the back. These are the places where they are most likely to leak. Installed 3 months ago with no problems. Super headlight for the price!Update 11/2/2017: well, had no problems for about a year. But around August of this year, half of the LEDs (3 out of 6) in one of them stopped working. No signs of water ingress or damage. I rarely use them, just to put reverse on at night and then when it's very dark and my regular reverse lights aren't bright enough, which I like. I was hoping they would last longer, especially since they were actually on and lasted no more than 2 hours, which is generous. Usually they don't turn on for more than 15 seconds. The newer version has a 2-year warranty, so we'll see.
