Didn't fit my Suburban.

This is an ACDelco part. i have to return it When I wanted to replace the gas cap with my VIN, I was offered 2 different caps. I have a 2006 Chevrolet Suburban 1500 5.3L with flex fuel. I decided to order both and send back the one that didn't fit. This cap doesn't fit. This cap has threads and the other cap has splines. I am adding photos for clarity. An ACDelco GT330 cover fits my suburb.
