I got this for my 2021 Otyota Ramery Hybrid (can't name a specific model). I bought version 4 - if they didn't tell me I'll never know the difference. It comes with Apple Car Play but requires a USB connection to a specific port. This allows the phone to display everything like maps, music and phone on the installed screen as it was delivered. The downside is that it doesn't offer fast charging. Therefore, no data is displayed on the screen during fast loading or contact loading. It's fixed - I have no idea why the old version is bigger - or why yellow is cheap. Instead there is a gray one, but with a price difference of $80 - I can buy several options to hide it. From then on it connected to my surprise and within 20 seconds I was seeing the same thing I was used to when connected directly. wires. No delays. No questions. Nothing to download - all for half the price of anything I could find. I have nothing bad to say from my experience! As far as I know this is a new car - the latest version is required. I understand that if an older machine could use the older version, I would get the latest version, but with higher prices for the older unit and the ability to transfer from machine to machine. The connection screen is ugly - it's in English and Chinese - but I hope I can connect to a PC and change the wallpaper. Charging or contact charging to use instead of slow USB. Opens entertainment possibilities with Carplay.
