Plastic is too soft, best for car carrier, transportation and storage
Basically, it is a good product design, but the plastic it is made of is too soft, so the top bends far from surfaces . Wall under the weight of a regular, fairly light adult bike. I made it usable by inserting a 3/4" dowel into the loop - it got stuck after using a rat tail file to remove internal burrs - and secured the dowel to the wall with pipe hanger brackets - see photo. a Photo By the time I was done I had invested so much time and money that it would be far better to buy one of the more expensive metal bike hangers.
