I have purchased over 5 20g tubes of MX-4 thermal compound and this is my thermal compound choice for all the boards I work with. Let me just say, when nothing else is going on, this pasta is great; However I've had shorts failing on several PCBs or graphics cards lately and I've finally found that this is a direct result of this thermal paste being conductive and when you get to the last 20% tubes this is a more liquid substance , which can also contribute to the short circuit factor. I've since switched to an MX-5 tube, but for those of you who work on computers, trust me as someone who's lost $1,000 in damage + time, save yourself the hassle and either get an MX -5 or insert another non-conductive tube.
