My aunt is a card collector, and I found these cards when looking for Christmas gifts for her. We also collect cards, so we bought ourselves a pack as well. Buying card decks based on only pictures can be hit and miss, but overall, I like these cards! This review is for the gold ones. It was the metallic look that attracted us. The back style is quite pretty and the little kids at Christmas loved the kaleidoscope affect. I like the metallic look and they feel like a good quality card. They are a bit slippery so it can be easy sometimes to lose then deck when shuffling or looking through them. The whole card is metallic. Even the numbers/suits. For instance with the diamonds and hearts, the shapes and numbers are a red metallic, as well as the face cards. The card front numbers and suits are easy to read which is great - though the silver version of this same card are the best visually and in reading ease. Sometimes in unique decks the numbers/suits get lost in the artwork or colors. Pleasantly surprised at the quality! The only downside was the box. It was difficult to open and reopen (the silver version was not) and part of the box was coming unglued, but all in all, we really like these cards, and my aunt does as well!
