If you don't have a 4 amp (or more) 9 volt DC output adapter, get one from another source and fit a crossover cable (or buy one with a crossover cable) there (like another customer pointed out) the center of the pin is negative. Observe this unorthodox polarity and you are done. There is one supplier on the website whose name starts with an "e" that offers a suitable 9 volt 4 amp crossover adapter for half what the Brady costs and it works great.
