I was skeptical that this would work as advertised but low and here it works. I have a magnetic mount in my truck and have been using the metal plate that came with my phone case for years. My biggest complaint was that I couldn't use the wireless charger with my phone without removing the case. This little device solved the problem. Bought a new case when I bought this, placed the device on the back of my case and tested it on a wireless charger. Bam it worked. Then I took it to my truck and mounted it on a magnetic mount. Bam it worked. I thought it might be a little flimsy and I'd say it's a little looser on the magnet than a bare metal plate, but not so much that I'm worried about my phone falling off. By the way, it is BEST to use this on the outside of your case so that it has direct contact with the magnet. I tried it in the case and it was too flimsy to hold the phone (Galaxy S20). It's so thin it doesn't get in the way.
