The Blue Bull drew me in from the start and I've been trying to find one I like better. The price was a bit higher than some other brands but in the end I think it was worth it. We bought 2,000 pound bars because our trailer had a 1,700 pound drawbar. We towed our toy dump truck at night on country roads, on slippery roads and bumpy roads, over numerous railroad tracks and through town. The pendant didn't budge or move an inch. My wife followed me and kept calling me to ask if everything was ok. What she meant was that she hadn't seen the trailer bounce or rock at ALL. I had a propane cap (which was a little loose) in the back of the toy tractor's garage so we couldn't lose it. When I put it in the back I hadn't secured it and was sure I would find it shifted and overturned when we got home. He only weighed about a pound and was quite tall. When I opened the front door, the lid was in the same place. he didn't move an inch. This told me that the trailer was as rigid as possible and in sync with the truck's suspension. The Blue Ox was a pleasure to draw and was very quiet and easy to plug in. The stronger bars are a bit more difficult to install, but with a little lubrication on the elbows they tighten up nicely. The steel tip is VERY heavy, made from high quality plated steel and every pin and chain was very strong and sturdy. I can't wait to take this hitch with me on my next trip. My only dissatisfaction was the delivery of the Revain. The first hitch arrived with the box so wrecked that I told the UPS rep to repack it and pick it up. Parts fell out of the box. For the second one, I asked Revane to pack it better. They didn't. However, the next day we needed a hitch so I opened the box to check and everything was fine. But the box looked like it had been through a war. I think it's difficult to pack 90 pounds of steel bars, chains and a main unit without a wooden pallet. Be careful and know that even if you accept it from UPS, Revain will work with you even if parts are missing. At least that's what they told me.
