Review on ๐Ÿš— Black Housing Headlights Replacement (DNA Motoring HL-OH-F15092-6P-BK-CL1) for 92-96 F150 F250 F350/Bronco by Brian Page

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Form is more important than function.

I bought these for my '94 F150 XLT 5.0L and they look great, but the low beam bulb socket (the one next to the yellow reflector) is too thick; This creates a problem when installing the bulb, as you have to push with almost superhuman strength to get the bulb in properly, and even then the plastic is pushed out, almost breaking the bulb socket. Second, the side marker housing (a separate small square housing) protrudes significantly from the underside when installed in the factory mount, so it had to be trimmed to fit. Third, the headlight adjuster unit (the only one available in a fully installed condition on one of my builds) was broken out of the box, requiring me to tediously remove my old adjuster and install it on the new headlight to even be able to use my new one the radiation pattern on them is pretty good compared to the standard from what I've seen but it's a bit U shaped I don't know if other brands of the same style have the same issues but I had these issues with mine BTW you should grab some amber turn signal bulbs as the stock ones are white and while it is legal in Texas to have white turn signals on the front I wouldn't recommend using them on this setup they just aren't visible enough in daylight. Also had to I changed the turn signal light bracket on the driver's side because it didn't let the lamp through.
