The 4th bowl, bagged and stacked on the bottom set, had 2 cracks and wide rows of deep gouges/scratches just above the cracks. It's amazing how they passed the test before leaving the factory. Judging by other reviews, such an accident is not uncommon. The hassle of returns/exchanges just isn't worth it, leftover bowls can still be used which are a good size to use as an alternative to pet bowls.
