Ideal for starters and desserts. You are strong too. I've dropped them on the counter multiple times and haven't seen any cracks or chips. I'm happy with their size and quality and they were definitely worth the price.

They were useless because they couldn't be stacked Every bowl in the universe is conical, which makes it easy to stack bowls to save space. These bowls have flat sides, not tapered sides, so they cannot be stacked on top of each other. If you try to stack them on top of each other they will tip over. Some stupid design flaw.

Goods are in good condition and free from defects. The only reason I gave it one star is because I ordered it on July 17th and it arrived on August 23rd. In fact, this is the second time I have ordered it. I actually got canceled the first time, after a month of waiting. So if you don't mind waiting until (maybe) the second coming is here, try it first and take a chance.

Item arrived scratched, stained, damaged, looks used and even ripped in several places! They look good and fit the size I needed but sending me something as defective as this is horrible! I sent it in for an exchange so I'll see how it comes out a second time and update this review with that information. But if it's still damaged the second time, I wouldn't recommend this item at all.

3 out of 4 good shells. After removing the plastic wrap and inspecting each bowl, these imperfections were clearly visible. The 4th bowl, bagged and stacked on the bottom set, had 2 cracks and wide rows of deep gouges/scratches just above the cracks. It's amazing how they passed the test before leaving the factory.
