I think it's worth noting that infrared therapy isn't a one-time thing. They were originally developed to be worn for long periods of time in acute injuries in large animals. So you won't sit or lie against it and experience the miracle of the laying on of hands. You should consistently use this at least a few times a day as part of a self-care or treatment routine that includes any treatment activities recommended by your doctor or physical therapist. However, I love this case. I use it in the morning while drinking coffee and in the evening while watching TV or whatever. By use I mean leaning it against the back of the chair I'm sitting in and leaning against it. After about a week I noticed a big difference in my back and shoulder pain. I have a bad temporomandibular joint and have even found it easier to relax my jaw. The base stiffness of my fiber material is lower, enough that I pack it now, even if I'm only away for the weekend.
