I use a feeding tube and need to pour water into a syringe to drink water and flush out medication and liquid food. I've been using a disposable plastic bottle for a number of years. However, I wanted a backup that was easier to use and keep clean. Most bottles on the market are either too big (should be 16 ounces or less to fit in my lunch bag), don't have a spout (need a spout to properly direct water into the syringe), or are insulated (I need water at room temperature to prevent stomach cramps) or a combination of these undesirable properties. These bottles meet all the necessary requirements. Although I originally only needed one bottle, I found it very convenient to have several. I keep one in my travel, kitchen, dining and bedroom lunch bag so I have access to water wherever I go. The flip-top lid is also much easier to use when "eating on the go”. I can easily open a bottle (no unscrewing required) while holding a food container in the other hand. And there's no separate cover to keep track of. Because you can unscrew the large lid, they're easy to fill and soak in the sink with hot, soapy water to clean (I haven't tried washing them in the dishwasher). I haven't had any leakage issues.
