I did A LOT of research before deciding on these pillows based on a combination of reviews and best value for money. I've been using them on my kitchen chairs for a few months now. The foam has become a bit firmer so they don't feel very soft. They still look good and are easy to clean with a dab of dish soap on a damp sponge. A few other reviewers complained that the non-stick base fell off their chairs - that didn't happen to me. I have them sitting on the wooden kitchen chairs we use every day so they get a lot of use but no problem so far except they are not as thick and comfortable as I would like. (with buttons) but they are not. Each chair cushion has 4 circles sewn directly across the thickness of the cushion (about the size of a nickel) to give the appearance of a button, but this is clearly a less expensive approach than actually tufting the cushions with buttons. Despite the limited thickness/comfort, this was the best value for money I could find after a very long search in the color (burgundy/burgundy) I needed. They also match the shape of our chairs well – they are curved at the back and square at the front. I gave it 4 stars based on overall value compared to many other chair pads I've researched.
