Flame Omega Gripper Tufted Furniture Safe Non-Slip Dining Chair Cushion - Klear Vu 414307-289P (4 Pack) Review

I bought some beautiful new dark wood chairs for my dining table to replace those leather seats that were sagging and uncomfortable. These cushions add a little softness to these wooden chairs, look great and are easy to remove.

When I ordered this item I thought I ordered 2 sets of 2 pads (each set). But the description meant I ordered a set (for around $34). So I thought for that price I would get 4 chair cushions. The ad blew my mind.

I had 25 year old non-slip pads that were starting to wear out so I wanted to replace them and update the color and pattern. These old ones were comfortable; however, these new ones are thin and very uncomfortable. They don't do things the way they used to I guess.

We've had them for a few days now. At first I was excited because they don't move! However, I picked one up this morning to shake off the crumbs and a large amount of the clinging material on the back came off and stuck to our dining chair.

We were very pleased with our purchase of the Clear Vu Gold Chair Pads. All chair cushions seem a bit pricey but I was able to find these cushions for our Windsor chairs. They fit perfectly and are made from well-made (USA) polyester with a great feel. We bought the gold but they are a darker brown with a golden tinge which suits us. Comfort level I would give them 3 out of 5 but they are pillows not pillows. In general we are grateful to them for what they are.

They looked great. And when we first sat on them, they seemed comfortable. But after the first few days of use they went flat. I measured one of the unused spacers and found they were only 1 1/2 inches thick. Not 2 inches as described. After sitting on it just a few times, they are flattened out to about 1/2 inch thick. Doesn't offer much cushioning. We currently resort to using two pillows on top of each other until I find something else. I have never written bad reviews. But I feel so…

It was a bit of a disappointment and I'll take the blame 50/50. They are the perfect size for my kitchen chairs but are too thin. The ones I've tried - I have three of these, need four total, and apparently they're not made anymore [these were the closest I could find in terms of design] - twice as thick. It's my fault for not measuring and noting the 16 x 15 x 2 size listed on the Revain order page. They have a very strong non-slip surface, probably better than the chairs I currently have. But

I did A LOT of research before deciding on these pillows based on a combination of reviews and best value for money. I've been using them on my kitchen chairs for a few months now. The foam has become a bit firmer so they don't feel very soft. They still look good and are easy to clean with a dab of dish soap on a damp sponge.
