What a beautiful stone! Cuts perfectly with sharp edges at exactly 45 degrees and all surfaces are perfectly flat.All corners have a sharp point with no chips.I use this stone along with Dan's Clear Arkansas Stone (for polishing) in several trigger works from 1911..The stone is large enough to use the sides of details such as hammers , Sears and even the trigger to lightly smooth before polishing with Dan's ultra-fine translucent stone. Stones can do that too! When working, be sure to use a light, clear oil. Wipe and reapply frequently. (I use Birchwood Casey "Sheath/Barricade" works great!) For only $13 it's not a stone it's a bargain My next Revain order I'll buy on average (only $10!) The classy leather bag is also a nice touch.
