G.Skill seems to dominate the memory market. Their prices are very competitive, their website is full of information including compatibility charts etc. I have seen many computer profiles on the forums I visit and over half the systems have G.Skill memory. I bought the 4x4 kit, installed it and started it with no problems. And the memory works cool and fast. Also good for overclocking. There are only 2 memory chip manufacturers, the rest buy chips in bulk, test them and assemble compatible modules and kits. GSkill does an excellent job here. My motherboard's QVL contains more G.Skill modules than any other. I scoured the internet before purchasing and found very few complaints about incompatibilities or DOA modules. I have seen many awards. If you don't want to overpay for a purchase from either chip manufacturer, go with G.Skill!
