I needed to be able to cut brick and concrete with a hand grinder to help with various outdoor landscaping projects. The depth of cut is limited by the diameter of the disc that fits my grinder, but the cuts were quick and clean. Be sure to wear a protective mask and respirator during use. While the wheel wears evenly and safely during use, your eyes and lungs must be protected from fine shavings (dust) created during use. This need for a respirator and shield applies to all dry concrete cutting discs. The key point is that the wear of the cutting wheel is even and structurally sound. This means that when used properly, I can quickly and safely cut brick and concrete during installation without the risk of dangerous wheel breakage.
