This mirror has effectively eliminated passenger side dead space. It's great, but it takes time to get used to. At first, the magnification was very uncomfortable for my eyes as I transitioned from looking ahead to switching to the rear view mirror. Of the two options suggested, the frameless version worked better for me. It offered an even larger field of view than the black-rimmed version. Unfortunately, the black framed version is heavier than the two options and caused my original mirror to wobble while driving, rendering it unusable.
