Easy to hold but not always easy to mark

My almost 2 year old loves to hold them in his hands but you have to press hard for them to leave a dark enough mark on the paper he doesn't have fine motor skills yet. So he quickly lost interest. I would recommend for kids 2.5+, but even then you're better off with thick crayola.

We returned these. They were waxy and when used to color, no color was left, only wax.
