I went on a cruise in December and have used the fanny pack both on the ship and on excursions. I use my phone when I'm on deck to take photos and when I want to be hands free the phone fits nicely in my fanny pack. On excursions I had space for my passport, money, 2 credit cards, hygienic lipstick and telephone (there was too much space). The backpack was water resistant but also survived an accidental dive. It got wet but I was able to dry everything. The certificate of gratitude was in a waterproof case. A friend had my phone to take photos. The hidden wave caught me. lol
