The blades are not sharp
The sharpener is very nice and bright. However I was disappointed when trying to sharpen the pencils - the flame is not sharp. The wood part sharpens well, but then there is resistance and sharpening the charcoal part of the pencil is not smooth. This is a brand new one that I tried; and I've only tried the long tip side because that's the length I need. I wish the sharpener had sharper blades. I do not recommend it and will not buy it again.
