Will do the job - my new review
We have a house with only heat downstairs and none upstairs. We wanted to close off the upstairs and only heat the down. This worked but I highly doubt it's going to hold up for multiple years. The magnets hold but not seamlessly which you would expect. The curtain is really only made of a heavy plastic so if you have children or pets this product isn't going to last. For our use though it works just fine
