It was very easy to get it set up as the instruction were very simple to follow. I've been using it for a little while on my RV and nothing has happened to my RV or the RV cover, so it seems to me that it is pretty durable. I don't think I could have put the cover on by myself so I strongly recommend that you have someone with you to help. If you are looking for a nice RV cover sizes 27'-30' I would say this is the best one out there as it was the best for me.
