Finally environmentally friendly products that can keep up! This is the third brand of organic sponges I've tested in the past few weeks. I usually buy big brands and they are around $1.50 per sponge and often more. I've found that with this brand, as with the other two I've tested, they not only perform as well as established brands, they outperform! One of the best things I love about sponges, and I don't know why, is that they don't get slimy or smelly as quickly as brand name sponges. I usually have to wash brand name sponges in the dishwasher for a week to get rid of the slime and odor. Sponges, including all eco-friendly sponges I've tested, can last at least twice as long! As far as cleaning is concerned, I find that they work just as well as well-known brands. I've found the scrubbing portion to come loose a little quicker than big brands, but they only come loose at the corners and still seem to hold together longer than big brands. So if you look at the price, they're a little cheaper than big brands and work better! Of all the brands I've tested, these eco sponges are slightly more expensive and I don't see any advantage over the other eco brands I've tested, so I'm deducting a star. But that's because they're not as budget-friendly as other eco-friendly options, but they still knock big brands out of the water!
