It works, but prep your floor first

So this product will help keep your old floors looking their best, but there are a few things to consider. We have used it several times over the past 10 years on our hardwood floors. First, it will never replace professional coloring. If my floor had been in great condition when I moved in and I didn't want to have a repair in 5 years, I would have hired a professional. Second, the best way to clean your floor before polishing is NOT with their cleaner. It does nothing to remove old growths. We had to scrape off the old mop layers and touch up the product with a diluted ammonia solution and an old microfiber cloth. (1 gallon of warm water with 2-3 tablespoons of ammonia, change frequently and dry each area as you wash). When you're done, your floors will look dull. It's a lot of work, but makes sure the product is smooth and not thick or sticky. Third, their microfiber hood is terrible for product application. I use a Rubbermaid mop with a new microfiber applicator. I also bought from Amazon. (Just don't fill refillable bottles with anti-aging products.) Then lightly dampen the mop head with the product before starting work. Apply the anti-aging product in small portions as directed on the pack. I personally find it best to apply one coat to avoid too much build up. We prefer satin finish. This is the only non-professional satin product I could find. It's still shiny, but not as shiny anymore. It hides scratches better in the sun. Finally, apply and leave to dry overnight before putting the furniture back in the kitchen. My floors look great but took hours to install. Much luck!
