Many years ago I had a Shu Uemura eyelash curler and loved it. I bought others when these needed to be replaced due to the price. I was about to spend some money and buy another one when my 5 year old Paula Dorf eyelash curler gave up. Didn't know they didn't sell replacement pads. But I was willing to give it up as each block was supposed to last 6 months. The two silicone pads supplied were sold out within 6 weeks. In the 35 (!) years that I've been using eyelash curlers, I've never had one that lousy. Some reviewers said they received fakes, but my brand is printed on the bottom of the lasts.
